Story is real here.

Forest Halls is a place of celebration: of the natural world, of our mythic reality, of community, of ourselves, of Spirit. It is a place of joyful discovery, adventuring, and improvisational pageantry.

Dragons have been glimpsed along Forest Halls' horizons this past year. I'm wondering what they have to tell us!
Let's enter this unfolding tale and explore together.

Forest Halls began as a magical reality that my harp partner Deb Knodel and I took our audiences to when we performed. This was back in 1995. When we moved to an island five years later, it seemed to me that we had indeed moved to Forest Halls!

Now, five years later, we have gathered to root Forest Halls to a particular place - specifically to a "blessing place" in our upper Woods on the island.

Forest Halls has always been about weaving song, folklore, art, poetry, myth, harps, and the magic of the natural world (and more!). Through intention we invoked those threads into the gathering that took place here on August 28, 2005.
